Participants will have an opportunity to comment on components of the proposed Standard Practice Paper (SPP) for Video Interpreting. (The Standard Practice Paper will be sent out by mail referendum after solicitation of feedback from RID members) Components to be discussed will include but not limited to historical perspectives of video interpreting, standards & regulations affecting video interpreting, effect on Deaf consumers, impact on the interpreting job market, impact on interpreting practice, & impact on quality standards.
