Workshop

Two sides of the curtain: Ethical decision making in medical settings

A strong sense of ethics and familiarity with legal considerations is critical when working in medical settings. But, are the considerations and ethical codes the same for staff interpreters and private practice interpreters? Using large- and small-group discussions, participants will draw from their knowledge and experience to address common ethical and legal conundrums interpreters face in medical settings.
