You Want ME to Support YOU?: How to navigate teaming as a new interpreter

Teaming is to come together to achieve a common goal. We will engage in professional discussion and collaboration to identify best practices for working with a team. The Code of Professional Conduct will be examined and group discussions will lead us to a common understanding of our ethical obligations. Further discussions will expand on tips and tricks to guide us through our work.

The teaming process will be explored and ideas generated to make these situations successful. Topics include pre-conferencing and post-conferencing do’s and don’ts, how to utilize a dialogue journal and how to provide constructive feedback to peers. (STUDENT CONFERENCE)
