Sight Translation English into Spanish (Sponsored by Sorenson Communications)

This workshop will introduce participants to basic sight translation techniques that will help them work with and interpret written material faster, more accurately and effectively.  Participants will work with different kinds of texts (written English) they might encounter interpreting in medical, educational or quasi-legal settings.  Participants will become familiar with typical texts interpreters are required to sight translate, their register and their specific terminology. This workshop will use Spoken Spanish.
