Whitney Gissell is a BEI Advanced interpreter with a background in Psychology and Neuroscience from Texas A&M University.  Once a full time staff interpreter for a large hospital, Whitney gained years of experience in the healthcare setting as an interpreter-member of the healthcare team.  Whitney has since joined MasterWord Services as the Manager of the Compliance and Quality Assurance Divisions.  Whitney also serves on the Texas Advisory Committee for Qualifications for Healthcare Translators and Interpreters and is the Director of Professional Development for the Texas Association of Healthcare Interpreters and Translators (TAHIT).
