Presenter

Kristie Casanova de Canales,MA, CI/CT/NIC, BEI Trilingual Advanced, lives near Columbus, OH. She’s worked as an ASL/English interpreter since 2000 and done trilingual work since 2004. Additionally, Kristie is the founder and moderator of the Network of Trilingual Interpreters, a listserv founded in 2006 whose 250+ members focus on to working with the Deaf Latino community. As a presenter, she provides interpreting-related workshops at the state, national and international level. Kristie has conducted and published research related to Spanish/ASL/English interpretation. Since completing her M.A. in Applied Linguistics, she divides her time between teaching and interpreting.
