Martin Vásquez was reared in a bilingual & bicultural setting in South Texas and learned sign language at an early age.  He has formally studied several languages and has attended several language schools, including the Defense Language Institute – Foreign Language Center in Monterey, CA.  He earned two Associate’s one in ASL Interpreting and one in Spanish Language and Culture.  Martin is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation and Interpreting with a minor in Spanish at the University of Texas at Brownsville.
