Sergio has over 20 years experience as a bi, tri, and quad-lingual interpreter in platform, education, religion, artistic, community, medical, legal, and in the recent years VRI and VRS. Sergio has done training and given workshops in different areas of the United States and Mexico. Sergio is the writer, coordinator, and teacher of the Interpreter Trainer Program at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Mexico.  He is the co-author of Spanish book on interpreting and translation techniques for spoken Spanish and Sign Languages -Lo que hace a un intérprete ser intérprete.
