I was first exposed to sign language in the 3^rd grade and loved the feeling of expressing my thoughts through my hands. I took ASL in high school for 3 years followed by college at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. There I obtained my bachelor’s degree in ASL. I have been a certified interpreter since 2009 in Dallas, TX. I hold national and state certifications and recently passed the BEI Court Interpreter Certification.
