River City Interpreters for the Deaf (RCID) is proud to coordinate the Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf (TSID) 2017 annual conference to be held at the San Antonio Hyatt Regency Hotel on the Riverwalk. TSID was established on November 16, 1963. Twenty-four interpreters from all over Texas signed the Charter which established the Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf. As the first professional organization of interpreters in the nation, TSID has been one of the leaders in this field. TSID is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of developing and strengthening the profession of interpreting in Texas. TSID allows student interpreters and professional interpreters to meet annually in order to attend workshops that will give them the knowledge and skills to better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, with whom they provide services to.

OUR THEME IS COME TO THE SCENE IN 2017!
