TSID 50th Annual Conference Opening Session

As TSID celebrates its 50 years, we invite the deaf community to come celebrate your vibrant Texas history with us by watching “Journey Through Deaf Texas.” We will have movie theater goodies such as buttered popcorn and more! Featuring the history of the Texas Association of the Deaf (TAD), 1886 – 2009, a DVD produced by David H. Pierce and Stephen C. Baldwin, PhD will be viewed. The enchanting DVD has rare archival photos and motion picture film footage with insightful interviews with previous TAD presidents. The DVD premiered at University of Texas/San Antonio’s Buena Vista Theater on June 11, 2009.
