Lauri Metcalf

Lauri is the Department Chair of the American Sign Language, Interpreter Training and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at San Antonio College. She has been Chair since its inception in 1994. Lauri’s work experience spans over 40 years and includes teaching preschool/kindergarten deaf students, interpreting students and working as a certified interpreter. Lauri has been actively involved with the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters since 1995. Lauri has presented numerous workshops and trainings for Interpreters throughout the United States.
