Laura currently serves as the ASL Professor at Tyler Junior College for the Sign Language Interpreter Training program teaching ASL I, III, IV, & V. She taught Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for 12 years with Mesquite & Fort Worth RDSPD, & Jean Massieu Academy. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science degree in Deaf Education from Texas Woman’s University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dirk, & children, Dakota & Lexi and watching her kids play sports.
