Sammie Sheppard has worked as an interpreter since 1984. She holds her Master & Court Certification with the Texas Board of Evaluators of Interpreters and is recognized as Certified Court Mentor. She also holds her RID Certificate of Transliteration and is a Certified ASL Secondary Teacher with the Texas State Board of Education.  She has been an Interpreter Trainer for Tarrant County College since 1992. Her professional career spans all facets of professional interpreting: community, VRS, Deaf ministry, interpreter coordinating, mentoring, and formerly owning an interpreting agency.
