Dr. Ilija Gallego is a professor of psychology at Houston Community College.  He received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, and earned a Doctor of Psychology degree in clinical psychology from Baylor University in 1988.  Dr. Gallego has practiced in numerous professional settings including clinical, counseling and school psychology.  He began teaching full time at HCC over 20 years ago and, in doing so, found his passion.  Dr. Gallego’s academic interests include death and dying, near death experiences, paranormal psychology, LGBTQIA issues, multicultural psychology, abnormal psychology and forensics.
