Presenter

Keynote Speaker: Bonnie Gibson Brydon

ASLP, RID CI/CT, NAD V

Bonnie Faye is a national public speaker, writer, tri-lingual interpreter trainer/mentor, Practitioner (chaplain), mentor, life coach. She became a licensed practitioner of the University Transformational Spiritual Leadership, Agape (UTSLA). She began working with a variety of clients developing validation skills -- what we think, how we think, why we think.  Presently, her weekly classes through the New Direction Program at the VA Hospital in Westwood, California, instill tools for healing through a process of mentally filtering and reflecting using specific modalities which separate the incidence of PTSD from a patient’s own mental and emotional overlay.

To validate the effectiveness of reflection, Bonnie began working with inner city youth.  She meets with high school students from the Greater L.A. area, and continues to learn that youth are gut-wrenchingly honest!  Even so, this group became a central focus in her life and writing process!  From these experiences her presenting began to flourish for interpreters as well as mainstream audiences.

Bonnie Faye has presented throughout the states, RID Regional and State Conferences, in South Africa, and for Deaf audiences.  During this TSID 2014 conference, she taught Follow the Yellow Brick Toad: Forensic Listening (Students) and She Scared Me @ Hello.

She speaks tonight on “Cookies Kick Butt”
