Presenter

Tracy graduated from Lamar University with her Doctorate in Deaf Studies/Deaf Education in December, 2013. She also has a MS in Deaf Studies/Deaf Education from Lamar, and a BA in Psychology from Gallaudet University. She has taught for  fourteen years in Deaf Education and at the post secondary level. She has a special interest in KODAs and CODAs, as she and her husband are deaf parents of four hearing children. She is conducting research on social experiences of KODAs using Tajfel’s social identity theory.  Tracy is currently adjunct faculty at Lamar University.
