Elizabeth Sterling is both a BEI Level III interpreter and a certified Teacher of the Deaf/HH PK-12. She has been a HS English teacher at TSD, an inclusion teacher for the ESCXIII RDSPD, freelance interpreter, and educational interpreter for Texas State University. After graduating with her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, she took over the position of Deaf Education/RDSPD Coordinator for the SMCISD Regional Day School Program for the Deaf and has been there ever since. She is currently working on her Ed.D in Teacher Leadership and is doing her dissertation on educational interpreting training needs.
