Educational Interpreting: Beyond Ethics

This presentation is for anyone interested in working as an educational interpreter and for people currently working in the k-12 environment. The presenter will share suggested IEP goals and vocabulary associated with special education meetings. We will also discuss issues related to register, working with children, and soft skills needed to succeed in this environment. Participants will leave with a solid understanding of their role and ways to problem solve within a team.
