Board for Evaluation of Interpreters Certification Overview

Taking the BEI is a scary and intimidating challenge for most ITP students.  The fear of the unknown can be overwhelming. This workshop will help students have a better understanding of  the application,  testing  and rating processes of the BEI.   An overview of the Test of English Proficiency will be discussed including the 5 subsections and sample questions for each section.  Resources to help you prepare for the TEP will be shared.  The format of the Performance test as well as a description of each section will be examined.   The evaluation of the performance test and the scoring system will be reviewed.
