Congratulations! You are, or soon will be, a graduate of an ITP, and you want to start looking for work. However, being successful is as much about knowing how present yourself as a professional as it is having the interpreting know-how.  Whether it’s how to sign up with agencies, or recognizing financial limitations of starting your practice as a new interpreter, there’s more to “making it” than a degree and a certification.  Professional communication, honest, skill self-analysis, and knowing how to find that “in” can be the difference between a good interpreter and a great one.
