Making Science Visual

Science provides us with a better understanding of what is going on around us.  Are we, as educational interpreters, passing on the same level of understanding to our deaf students?  In this workshop, we will learn the challenges of interpreting K-12 science classes. Then learn to have confidence with using classifiers and structuring spaces to get around those barriers.  We will have some discussions and work together in small and big group activities.
