See It, Be It, Interpret It

This workshop looks at how interpreters can create a more visual interpretation when working from English to ASL. We will look at look at the reformulation part of the interpreting process as well as the features associated to use of space (classifiers, SASSs, verb modulation, characterization, etc.). Participants will have fun working with video materials, written materials, and each other. This workshop is a great for all interpreters looking to work on creating a more visual interpretation. Due to the nature of the presentation some materials will be presented/discussed in ASL.
